Update Legal Name

Please follow these steps to request an update to your Legal Name on your student profile.

Submit Name Change Form

  1. Browse to the Name Change Form
  2. Complete all required fields and Submit the form

Note: Name change requests will be processed in 3-7 business days. Changes will be reflected in the Student Portal and other York University systems.
